NousTravel Appoints Luxury Travel Veteran Martin Rapp, Strengthening Its Luxury Leisure Offering
New York, 5 October, 2026 – Boutique Global Travel Management company NousTravel today announced the appointment of Martin Rapp as Senior Vice President, Leisure, bringing more than three decades of luxury leisure travel expertise to its growing advisor network.
In his role as Senior VP, Rapp will focus on growing NousTravel’s luxury leisure business, sharing his destination and product expertise with its independent advisors, and strengthening relationships with its global supplier partners. He will work closely with leadership to expand NousTravel’s presence in the high-end leisure market and enhance the support available to its advisor network.
“I am beyond excited that Martin is joining NousTravel,” said Louise Whitney, Senior VP Hotel Partnerships & Branding, NousTravel. “Martin is one of the most respected names in luxury travel, and few people know the world’s finest hotels as intimately as he does. His relationships with hoteliers, and his generosity in sharing his knowledge with advisors, will be invaluable as we continue to expand into luxury leisure and entertainment travel.”
“NousTravel has built something special: a genuinely advisor-first business, run by people who know this industry inside out,” said Rapp. “I’m thrilled to join the team and help our advisors create exceptional experiences for their clients.”
Rapp is widely recognized as one of the leading figures in luxury leisure travel and is known as ‘the Professor’. He spent three decades in senior leisure sales roles, most recently at Global Travel Collection and previously at Altour, guiding travel consultants across the globe. He has served as a contributing editor at Travel + Leisure, has been repeatedly named among America’s top travel agents by the magazine, and has appeared on The Travel Channel. Before moving into travel, Rapp co-owned the Traveller’s Bookstore in New York’s Rockefeller Center for 10 years. He is a graduate of Columbia Business School.
This announcement comes hot on the heels of a series of major milestones for NousTravel, underscoring the company’s rapid growth since its launch two years ago. These include the appointment of Alexandre Chemla as Strategic Officer in May, Maria Baty’s appointment to lead its UK and Europe expansion. With this most recent hire, NousTravel continues to build momentum as it scales its boutique host platform across international markets.
